The ERI is a composite index that measures the level of Development of the Electricity Sub-Sector Regulatory Frameworks in African Countries against the International Standards and Best Practice.<\/p>\n<p>Uganda achieved the highest Electricity Index score at 0.801 vis-a-vis the lowest at 0.238 achieved by Chad. 36 countries participated in the index.
