Ambassador Joan Rwabyomere is a qualified lawyer with LL.B (Hons) from Makerere University, Master\u2019s Degree in International Trade and Investment and a Masters of Business Administration in Oil and Gas Management. She has a wealth of experience in politics, management, diplomacy, business and leadership both in the private and public sectors, at national, regional and international levels. She has been Uganda\u2019s High Commissioner to London (2006 \u2013 2013), and to Nigeria (2000 \u2013 2005).<\/p>\n
She has successfully served on the boards of various organizations, including Uganda Electricity Board, Civil Aviation Authority, National Enterprise Corporation, and Women in Diplomatic Service. Ambassador Joan served as a Member of Parliament and as a Junior Minister.
