The Microfinance Forum (MFF) continues to gain momentum following the successful election of leaders across its five (5) thematic working groups. The Forum, a multi-stakeholder platform established to enhance coordination and collaboration within Uganda’s microfinance industry, relaunched with a renewed commitment to drive sector-wide impact through strategic and specialized working groups.
As part of re-launch members agreed to elect leaders for the established thematic working groups supported by sub-committees and each was tasked with spearheading key focus areas.
Together, these working groups and sub-committees will play a pivotal role in ensuring a vibrant and coordinated microfinance sector in Uganda. We highlight the newly elected leaders and the mandates of each working group:
